Tarpon Specialty Services is expanding in Birmingham, AL and seeking skilled RMD Pipe Welders to join our high-performance fabrication team of specialists. You’ll work on industrial and modular projects where precision, safety, and weld quality come first.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute RMD root passes and Flux-Cored fill/cap welds on pipe
  • Interpret blueprints and WPS accurately
  • Inspect welds for conformance and maintain records
  • Support continuous improvement and team safety culture

Qualifications:

  • Proven RMD & FCAW pipe welding experience
  • 5G/6G proficiency a plus
  • Must pass weld test (RMD + FCAW)
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-minded
