Tarpon Specialty Services is currently hiring Tackers / Pipe Fitter Helpers to join our growing team in the Coastal Bend area. This position will assist pipe fitters and welders in layout, preparation, and installation of piping systems for industrial projects.

We’re looking for motivated individuals who are ready to work hard, learn quickly, and contribute to a team that values safety, craftsmanship, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pipe fitters with layout, fit-up, and assembly of piping components
• Perform basic tacking and prep work under supervision
• Cut, grind, clean, and move materials as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all company safety policies and site procedures
• Work effectively as part of a team in an industrial environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Tacker or Pipe Fitter Helper preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, grinders, and torches
• Must be safety-conscious and dependable
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsite

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-time, typically 40+ hours per week
• Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Overtime available occasionally
• Per diem may be available for qualified travelers
