About This Role

Precise Engineering is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler IV specializing in instrumentation planning for the Golden Pass LNG Project in Sabine Pass. This critical role coordinates maintenance programs, project schedules, and regulatory compliance for LNG and petrochemical facilities using SAP S/4HANA, Prometheus, and P6 scheduling platforms.

What You'll Do

Strategic Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain maintenance and reliability programs using SAP S/4HANA

  • Create project and outage schedules in Primavera P6 and Prometheus

  • Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly look-ahead schedules coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams

  • Manage work dispatching and manpower allocation with supervisors

Technical Execution

  • Create comprehensive job packs with technical specifications and resource requirements

  • Coordinate work order development and scheduling across functional teams

  • Identify material needs and interface with vendors and supply chain

  • Provide CMMS technical support to site personnel

Compliance & Performance Management

  • Track and report on schedule compliance KPIs with emphasis on maintenance and inspection regulatory requirements

  • Analyze deviations, variations, and trends with graphical reporting

  • Ensure proper work order documentation and regulatory compliance

  • Support budget development and cost control initiatives

Process Improvement

  • Recommend procedure changes and assist in technical writing

  • Implement training programs to enhance work effectiveness

  • Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years maintenance planning experience with SAP in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities

  • Heavy working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA

  • Strong understanding of Planning, Scheduling, and Execution best practices

  • Experience planning work across multiple craft disciplines: scaffolding, painting, insulating, rigging/lifting, welding, fabrication, and machining

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

  • Prometheus scheduling platform experience

  • Primavera P6 or MS Project proficiency

  • PHMSA-regulated pipeline facility background

  • Gas compression and metering equipment knowledge

  • LNG facility experience

  • Technical degree or similar certification

Required Credentials

  • Current valid state driver's license

  • Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC card
